Our Community Rallies Behind Alfie - Coach Kayley's Son Needs Your Support

The Northside family is rallying behind one of our own. Alfie, son of our U8 Girls coach Kayley and a former Northside player, suffered a serious quad bike accident while on holiday in Greece on 15th June 2026. He is currently in ICU at a specialist hospital in Athens, having sustained 11 broken ribs, 12 fractured vertebrae, a broken shoulder blade, a punctured lung, and a minor bleed on the brain. He faces back surgery and a long road to recovery, with weeks still ahead in Greece before he can come home.

Kayley and husband Jamie have been by his side throughout. Sadly, Alfie's travel insurance does not cover quad bike accidents, leaving the family facing tens of thousands of pounds in medical bills, lost earnings, flights, and accommodation — with costs still mounting every day.

A GoFundMe has been set up by Alfie's Auntie Holli and has already raised over £18,800 towards a £50,000 target. If you can contribute anything at all, please follow the link below.
