Peterborough Northside FC Club Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions (the “Terms”) govern membership, participation in training, matches, and all other activities organised by Peterborough Northside FC (the “Club”). By registering a player, you agree to these Terms.
1. Membership & Registration
- Acceptance: All players must be officially registered with the Club and the relevant Football Association (FA) before participating in any club activity. The Club reserves the right to approve or reject any registration.
- Fees: Annual membership fees must be paid in full by the due date specified on the approval email. Failure to pay may result in the player’s immediate suspension from all Club activities.
- Withdrawal/Refunds: Membership fees are generally non-refundable. Any request for a refund due to long-term injury, relocation, or exceptional circumstances must be submitted in writing to the Club Secretary for review. Decisions on partial refunds are at the sole discretion of the Club Committee.
2. Player Conduct
- Respect: Players are expected to show respect for their coaches, referees, opposition players, and club volunteers at all times.
- FA Rules: Players must adhere to the rules and regulations of the FA and all affiliated leagues.
- Discipline: Any player displaying repeated disruptive, abusive, or harmful behaviour may face disciplinary action, including suspension or expulsion from the Club.
3. Parent/Guardian Responsibility (For Junior Players)
- Contact Information: Parents/Guardians must ensure that all contact and medical information provided during registration is accurate and kept current throughout the season.
- Attendance: Players must attend all scheduled training sessions and matches unless a coach has been notified in advance of their absence.
- Welfare: Parents/Guardians are responsible for their child’s conduct on the sidelines and must adhere to the FA’s Respect Code of Conduct.
4. Safety & Liability
- Injury: The Club holds necessary public liability insurance. However, the Club, its volunteers, and coaches are not responsible for personal injuries sustained during normal football activity.
- Equipment: Players must wear appropriate kit and footwear for all sessions. The use of shin guards is mandatory for all training and matches.
- Medical: By registering, you consent to coaches or Club officials seeking emergency medical treatment for the player if required and if a parent/guardian cannot be reached immediately.
